Unigit Version 2.02.03 is based on Versions 2.02.02 fundamental redesign of Unigit in tab based appearance. The main novelty is the near field computation for both 1D solvers (RCWA & C-method) currently restricted to classical mount. Besides, it comprises a couple of newly developed solvers such as a C-method based 1D solver for multilayer 1D gratings in conical mount, a C-method solver for multilayer 2D gratings and a RCWA solver for 2D gratings at normal incidence with symmetry acceleration (speed up factor of 32/64). Known issues: RCWA 2D symmetry accelerated solver for normal incidence (unigit_2ds0.exe) provides results in some higher orders deviating from other 2d RCWA solvers (unigit_2d.exe and unigit_2dsx.exe)

Version 2.02.0203 #beta1 - Unigit Version 2.02.02 is a beta update to the previous alpha versions 2.02.0201 and 2.02.0202. Now, symmetry for RCWA solvers is fully working together with smart order. Moreover, separation of "TE" and "TM" computations for the symmetric 2D RCWA-solvers enables faster computations in case that not the full polarization is required. Eventually, the spectral resolution was increased to 0.1mAngström. Delta #2 is devised to fix issues that relate to zero thickness of substrate or superstrat.
Moreover, it adresses issues with either real or imaginary part of refractive index being equal to 0.
Values different from 0 could occur in the saved stack file even though a 0 is visible in the edit window for the slice layer.
This may result in wrong computation results. A first workaround is to make sure that "0.0" is entered instead of just "0".
However, it is strongly recommended to replace the contained UnigitTab1D instead.
